Expunge Your Criminal Arrest Record

DEFENDING YOUR RIGHTS

CENTRAL FLORIDA CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY

We represent individuals charged with criminal offenses.  This encompasses everything from initial encounter with law enforcement and trials through the appellate process and into sealing and expunging of criminal arrest records.  It is very important to speak with an attorney immediately upon being arrested.  Your Rights need to be invoked immediately to protect you from damaging your possible defenses.

Domestic Violence  Domestic Violence is now one of the most over-charged offenses.  If you have been charged with Domestic Violence, click above.

Violations of Probation  Many criminal arrests end up with someone serving probation or community control.  Violations are easy to come by and are serious matters.  We also assist people who wish to terminate their probation early.

Drug Charges  Drug offenses are very common and the penalties can be stiff (e.g., two-year drivers license suspension). The defenses are many and usually absolute. Don't plea to a possession charge without consulting an attorney first.

Suspended Licenses/Racing on Highways  Driving on a Suspended License, Habitual Traffic Offenders, Racing on the Highway.

Property Crimes Criminal accusations involving theft, trespass, burglary, and dealing in stolen property.

Juvenile Offenses  Experienced in juvenile laws and rules. Juvenile court is different that adult court. We've represented children accused of crimes for many years. Make sure your child has all the options available to him/her by the court system.

Drunk Driving  Driving Under the Influence is one of the most complicated offenses to defend and one of the most over charged crimes the state proceeds upon.

Criminal Appeals  A plea or finding of guilt by a jury can be appealed if you notice the court within 30 days of sentencing.

TO PLEA "NOT GUILTY"

At the first appearance (if in jail) or the arraignment the judge will determine if there is probable cause and advise you of the pending charges. He or she may also ask you how you would like to plea - the answer is always "Not Guilty." This is a legal term and means you want additional time to decide what to do. By pleading not guilty you will have time to seek advice from an attorney and determine what Rights you have.

When talking with an attorney regarding representation, always be honest and straight forward. Embellishing the facts to make your case seem better is only self-defeating. Keep in mind that what you say to an attorney regarding your case is confidential and privileged. Your attorney is trying to help you and needs to know every bad fact as well as good fact in order to develop a defense.

Know your rights. We all have the right to remain silent.  It is probably the most important right we have. Utilize it often. Whenever you are being questioned by a law enforcement officer about an offense that they suspect you committed you should immediately stop talking and ask to speak to an attorney.

It's Constitutional! Be an American and just do it!  Click HERE to find out more about your Rights.

Ask for an attorney always. You have a right to have an attorney present during all questioning by law enforcement. Utilize this right. It too has saved a person from the depths of the Department of Corrections.

This Office represents people charged with criminal offenses in the following counties: Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Brevard, Lake, Volusia, and Polk; and the following cities: Orlando, Kissimmee, Sanford, Viera, Tavares, and Titusville. If you were charged in a county that is not listed please call. We will discuss the circumstances and decide whether it is beneficial for you to hire us on that case.
